(May 17, 1932 - August 8, 2013)


died at 8:25 pm Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa. She was a lifelong resident of Pine and a faithful member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to play the piano and many may remember her “playing the washtub” at Mile Branch Settlement.

Husband of 65 years: Denver Nobles of Pine

2 Sons and Daughters in law: Denver Nobles, Jr. and Roselyn Nobles of Scott, LA, Rodney and Veronica Nobles of Pine

9 Grandchildren and Spouses: Carla and Ernest Boudreaux of Scott, Jim Nobles, Joe Nobles both of Lafayette, Matthew and Tammy Nobles of Bogalusa, Berkley and Marilyn Nobles, Derrick and Allison Nobles all of Bogalusa, Robin Nobles, Cynthia Nobles both of North Carolina, Brent and Danielle Nobles of Pine

11 Great-grandchildren: Haley and Austin Nobles, Gabe Faye, Taya, Troy and Tyler Nobles, Kylie and Talyn Nobles, Cadence Nobles, Vera Nobles

Step-brother and Spouse: Leroy and Billie Breland of Baton Rouge

Step-sister: Janice Ard of Varnado

Sister in law: Ollie Cadenhead of Kentwood

Also numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents Clifton Wilson and Rebecca Ingram Wilson, her step-father Berkley Breland, and infant brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday August 10th from 4 pm until 8 pm and after 10 am on Sunday. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Morgan Farmer and Eld. Billy Reyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Midway Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
