Christopher Anthony Luper

CHRISTOPHER ANTHONY LUPER, AGE 35 And a resident of Franklinton died Thursday night February 21, 2019 at his home. He was a 2002 graduate of Pine High School after attending West Marion High School in Foxworth, MS during earlier grades. Christopher was a former employee of the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, a former truck driver and most recently worked at Global Energy Services. He was a member of Hays Creek Southern Baptist Church that enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He also enjoyed raising his many barnyard animals and checking on them with his children each day. Christopher loved spending time with his family and had a special place in his heart for his pet Dachshund Shadow. Survived by: Wife: Leighann Bankston Luper of Franklinton Children: Elizabeth Ann Luper, Christopher Andrew Luper, Kaleigh Nicole Luper, Elijah Thomas Luper, Shara Lydia Smith and Harold Zarr, Natalie Marie Pittman An expected grandchild Mother and Step-father: Dee Ann and Wayne Polkey of Tylertown, MS Father: Craig Luper of Pine Brothers and Sisters in law: Lane and Jessica Luper, T.J. and Heather Luper and their son Wyatt all of Pine, Jessie Richardson of Franklinton, Matt Polkey of Tylertown Grandmothers: Martha Ann Davis, Eva Bankston Father in law: Lester Bankston Sisters in law and Brothers in law: Selena Bankston and Chad Cochran and their child Bryclyn, Dewayne and Jordan Bankston and their child Addy K Also numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Mitchell Polkey, step-mother Anna Riggs, mother in law Donna Bankston, grandparents Leroy and Mary Ann Luper, grandfather Larry Davis, great-grandparents Wilson and Ruby Penton, Max and Matalee Brumfield, great-uncle and great-aunt Max, Jr. and Pat Brumfield. Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday February 27th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Wednesday with Rev. Rick Elder, Rev. Fredrick Brumfield, and Rev. Ronnie Chaisson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hays Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
