Eola Billiot Fontana

EOLA ROSEANNA BILLIOT FONTANA, AGE 86 And a resident of the Clifton Community died at 7:30 am Tuesday December 2, 2014 at Northshore Specialty Hospital. She was a native and longtime resident of New Orleans where she was a former employee of Antoine’s and a member of the traveling singing group the Southern Traveliers. Eola, along with her husband, was an accomplished bowler, which she enjoyed very much. She had a wedding decorating and catering company for many years and she also sewed costumes for many Mardi Gras Carnival Crews. Eola enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family, even later in life. She retired to Washington Parish in 1984 where she worked in the church nursery of Hillcrest Baptist Church for many years. She became a member of Hillcrest Church and later attended Clifton Baptist Church near her home. Survived by: Daughter and Son in law: Sharon and Rob Marshall of Clifton Son and Daughter in law: Bruce Paul Fontana and Ranee Fontana of Clifton Grandchildren: Lichelle Adams, Lonnie Adams, Jr, Lorne Adams, Sr., Jeaneau Hernandez, Tonya Ranard, Nina Marie Fontana, Bonnie Leigh Fontana, Jennifer Pendelton Fontana Great Grandchildren: Shelbey Clark, Tyler Marcel, Cody Marshall, Peighton Clark, Lorne Adams, Jr., Michael Freeman, Gavin Adams, Anthany Adams, Alexis Adams, Brittnie Adams, Lonnie Adams, III, Mya Blackwell Adams, Callie Grace Adams, Jeremiah Johnson, Chris Gutierrez, Brandon Fontana, Michael Guiterrez, Stephanie Guiterrez Harrell Great-great-grandson: James Abel Gutierrez, Sister and brother in law: Juanita Pewitt and Tommy Pewitt of Metairie She was preceded in death by her husband Jake Fontana and her parents Ulyess Billiot and Rosie Bordelon Billiot. Also Mamie and Ray Mang, Sr., Lewis and Sara Billiot, Gloria and Charles Robichaux, Roy and Nancy Fontana, Carmello and Johnny Talia, Josie Orth, Vita Tomm, Austin J. Guiterrez, Linda Deuchert, Carol and Lloyd Roberts, Sr., Lloyd Roberts Jr., Judy Fontana Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday December 6, 2014 from 8:30 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gene Richards and Rev.
