Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mrs. Phyllis Jean McAdams Miller Mrs. Phyllis Jean McAdams Miller, age 76, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on January 6, 1939 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late, John and Bessie Fryman McAdams. She was first united in marriage to Forrest Wood and this union was blessed with a son and two daughters. She was of the Christian faith and was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was united in marriage to Howard Jewel "Lizard" Miller and this union was blessed with one daughter. She had resided in the Bugalusa community in Louisiana for nearly forty years returning to Madison in 2012. She enjoyed card games, computer games, cooking, her family and playing Yahtzee. Phyllis died on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 10:30 p.m. at the Hanover Health & Rehab Center in Hanover, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Phyllis will be missed by her loving daughters, Connie Jean Barker and her husband, Scott of Three Rivers, Washington, Penny Marie Shook Hernandez and her husband, Magdaleno of Madison, Indiana, Julia Miller-Futrell and her husband, Shawn of Independence, Louisiana; her loving son, Anthony Clyde Wood and his wife, Linda of Manville, Indiana; her step daughters, Alma Hanaway and her husband, Jim of North Vernon, Indiana; Norma Jean Hoyt of Holden, Louisiana; her step sons, Kenneth Wood; Kenneth Wade Miller and his wife, Janice of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Howard Austin "Pee Wee" Miller and his wife, Tina of Franklinton, Louisiana, Ricky Ward Miller and his wife, Sandy of Holden, Louisiana; 25-grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie Fryman McAdams, husband, Howard Jewell "Lizard" Miller, died December 3, 2011, her step son, Randy Wade Miller, her brothers, John "Jack" McAdams and Jess McAdams, her sisters, Betty Taylor, Louella "Sis" Smith and Lillian "Lil" Baldwin, her grandchildren, Ann Marie Miley, Vertia Lolita Miller, Peter Austin Miller and Michael Miller, her two great grandchildren Zayren and Adrick Hanaway. VISITATION Friends may call Friday from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home, 1109 Bene Street in Franklinton, Louisiana. GRAVESIDE SERVICE Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Seal Cemetery in Varnado, Louisiana. MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS Memorial contributions may be made to the Phyllis Miller Memorial Fund.
