In Loving Memory of Henry E. Williams Henry Earl Williams of Franklinton, Louisiana passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021 at the age of 90. He was born on November 1, 1931 in McComb, Mississippi, and was a longtime resident of New Orleans. Henry is survived by his children, Barry Williams, and Beth (Pete) Hoeft; grandchildren Michael (Erin) Williams, Mark (Angi) Williams; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Kensington, Kamryn, companion of 30 years, Barbara Carbo; and many loving extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Williams, his son, Randall Williams, his parents, William Otis and Audrey Spears Williams, his sister Pauline Williams, and his brother, Robert Wayne Williams. Henry served in the US Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class. He was an independent insurance agent for over forty years. Henry served as President of the Jefferson Parish school board. In retirement, Henry enjoyed giving tours via his Yellow Cab and telling stories about the great City of New Orleans. Henry loved participating in all things Mardi Gras and marching with the JUMA Marching Club. He served as King of the Helios Carnival Club in 1976. A memorial will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the American Legion, 3001 River Road, Jefferson, Louisiana from 11:00 – 1:00. Private burial will follow.
