Lazette Thomas Brumfield

August 6, 1944 - February 24, 2018

LAZETTE THOMAS BRUMFIELD, AGE 73 And a resident of the Stateline Community died Saturday morning February 24, 2018 at her home. She was a member of Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church, where she was recently honored for over 32 years of dedication to the Lord’s work as a Sunday school and Bible class teacher. She enjoyed gardening and working on the farm. Alongside her family, Lazette worked in their well-known pecan business for many years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in God’s beautiful nature. Lazette adored her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished the time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Brumfield, father Archie Thomas, brothers Richard Lloyd Thomas, Walter Thurman Thomas, sister in law Genell Brumfield, brothers in law Bobby Brumfield, Chris Brumfield. Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Monday February 26th from 5:30 pm until 9 pm. Visitation will continue Tuesday at Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church from 10 am until 2 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday with Eld. Richard Magee, Eld. Clyde Cooper, Eld. Yancy Magee, Eld. Glynn Erwin, Eld. Lavon Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
